Day 2: Relax or be active. Explore the tidal estuary on foot or by canoe (tides permitting). Visit various early European or pre-European sites.

Day 3: Follow the Abel Tasman track through native forests, past headlands, through estuaries, and onto soft sandy beaches to reach Torrent Bay Lodge. Approx. 5 hours hiking.

Day 4: Flexible schedule includes a choice of many beautiful short walks or canoeing (tides permitting) around the Torrent Bay estuary.

Day 5: Follow the Abel Tasman track along the coastline to Marahau where a coach awaits to return you to Motueka or Nelson. Approx. 4 hours hiking.
