Ninety-seven years ago Mawson, David, and Mackay were the first to reach the South Magnetic Pole (in January 15th, 1909) after trekking some 1000 miles. To celebrate that achievement you will sail to the South Magnetic Pole. This Antarctica expedition is an opportunity to experience a seldom-visited part of Antarctica, rich in history and wildlife.
Day 1: Arrive at Hobart.
Day 2: Board ship in Hobart.
Days 3-5: Enroute to Macquarie Island.
Days 6 & 7. Macquarie Island.
Days 8-10: At Sea.
Days 11-17: East Antarctica.
Days 18-21: At sea.
Days 22 & 23. Campbell Island.
Day 24: Auckland Islands - Carnley Harbour
Day 25: Enderby Island.
Day 26: Snares Islands.
Day 27: Arrive at the Port of Bluff, for transfer to Invercargill Airport or town centre.
